Monument Lumber was founded in 1952 to serve contractors, homeowners, and industrial customers in Santa Cruz, Soquel, Capitola, Live Oak Corralitos, Watsonville, Pajaro, Freedom, Salinas, San Jose, Carmel, Monterey, and Seaside. Today, under the direction of second-generation owners Mark and Calvin Shugart, Monument Lumber has maintained a high customer service standard specializing in high-quality lumber and hardware at competitive prices.
